Peter Bryant

Peter is an experienced academic with over twenty-five years teaching and research experience in both the UK and Australia, in the areas of higher education strategy, learning technologies and creative industries management.
Peter is a Trustee of the Association for Learning Technology, which supports the professional and policy development of staff using educational technology. He is an experienced researcher, speaker and advocate specialising in pedagogical change, social media in education, the practices of making, and engagement in education and the creative industries. He co-leads the international Future Happens initiative, which uses innovative approaches to problem-solving and change management to engage the wider higher education sector in debates and research-informed conversations around technology, pedagogy and the future of the modern University. He is the Chair of the editorial Board for the peer reviewed open access journal Reserach in Learning Technology.

Elaine Huber

Elaine has been designing curriculum and teaching adults for over 20 years and is currently the Academic Director of the Business Co-Design team at the University of Sydney. Elaine leads this multiskilled team of educational developers, learning designers, media producers and research associates, working together with discipline staff, students and industry partners on a large strategic project called Connected Learning at Scale.
Elaine's philosophy of teaching takes a student-centred approach and incorporates active and collaborative learning to improve the student experience. Elaine has a Master of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, a Master of Education (ICT) and her PhD is in Educational Evaluation. Her other research interests include design and development of blended professional development programs for teaching staff as well as the efficacy of different methods of delivery including flipped and the intensive (compressed) modes.

Angela Knox

Angela Knox is a Professor of Work and Organisation and Academic Director of Professional Development. She is an internationally recognized expert in job quality, precarious work, skills and migration. Angie has published widely and her work has appeared in Gender, Work and Organisation, Human Relations, Human Resource Management Journal, Industrial Relations, International Journal of Human Resource Management and Work, Employment and Society. She has also co-edited a book, Job Quality in Australia. She is an Editor of Work, Employment and Society and Editorial Board member of Human Relations. Angie has received in excess of ten teaching awards, including the inaugural Dean's Award for Teaching and she is a Senior Fellow with the Higher Education Academy/ AdvanceHE. She is also an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Warwick, UK.

Leisa Sargent

Leisa Sargent is Dean of the Business School at the University of Sydney since December 2022. Leisa studied at the University of Toronto and obtained her PhD from the Rotman School of Management. Prior to her appointment at the University of Sydney, Leisa held the position of Senior Deputy Dean at The University of New South Wales (UNSW) Business School (2016-2022). She also held positions as Co-DVC Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (2019-2022), Professor Head of School Management and Marketing, The University of Melbourne (2012-2016) and held several academic program director and University committee roles at the University of Melbourne (2003-2011), Cornell University (2002), and Queensland University of Technology (1991-2001). She has conducted numerous Faculty and academic program reviews and has served on several advisory and governance boards of Australian University bodies, as chair or as a member, including the Centre for Social Impact and UNSW Global. Her research impact roles include expert witness, Senate inquiries, and Government advising. Leisa's research has been published in the leading international journals, including Personnel Psychology, Organization Science, Harvard Business Review, Academy of Management Learning and Education, Journal of Management Education,Journal of Human Resources Management, Journal of Organisational Behavior,Journal of Vocational Behaviour, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Work and Stress, Small Group Research and British Journal of Industrial Relations. She has held editorial board memberships including the Journal of Management Studies and Human Relations. Leisa has consulted to large complex organisations both in Australia and North America, including companies such as Nortel, the Australian Maritime Safety Authority, Telstra, Incitec, Canada Life, Comcare, Arnott's, and the Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. A nationally awarded educator, Leisa was named the Pearson Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management innovative educator of the year. Leisa's current research spans an evidence-based approach to leadership development, new perspectives on retirement, workday design, restorative experiences, and green infrastructure. Her research has been competitively funded through the Australian Research Council grants, Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, The Australian Learning and Teaching Council, The Academy of Management and Hort Innovation Australia.

Dimitria Groutsis

Dimitria’s research, teaching, leadership and advocacy work focuses on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) from a macro, meso and micro level perspective, with a particular focus on ethno-racial diversity. As the Academic Director of the Science in Australia Gender Equity Program (SAGE), she plays a critical role in leading the University’s DEI agenda. Since 2023 the SAGE agenda has broadened, going beyond STEMM to take a whole of university approach, while also including students and staff and embracing a gender intersectional lens to data collection, awareness raising and policy development.

Dr Sarah Loch

Director – Pymble Institute, Pymble Ladies’ College

Over her teaching career, Sarah has been a social educator for adults with disability, a secondary school teacher, wellbeing leader, school executive leader, and a casual academic in Education at a number of universities. She is the founding Director of the Pymble Institute at Pymble Ladies’ College which is the school’s hub of research-related activities. She works with students, staff and alumni, along with academics and partners from external organisations, to create opportunities for research. The Pymble Institute is committed to increasing women’s and girls’ voices and presence in research, especially through developing and undertaking research which can influence and improve initiatives in and for girls’ education worldwide. Sarah gained her PhD in Education with a thesis examining ways young adolescent girls select school subjects and plan for their futures. Her research and current work spans creative ways of writing and researching in the field of Education. At Pymble, she teaches Religion and Ethics, and Big History, where she loves helping her students develop a passion for scholarship. She leads the College’s Social Intelligence strategic pillar and is responsible for the College Libraries, Archives, Social Impact and Careers programs.

Yinyan (Calvados) Che

Yinyan (Calvados) Che is a final-year Master's student in Finance and Data Analytics at the University of Sydney, where she served as the Student Chair for the Work Integrated Learning Hub. She’s interned at local firms such as Ellerston Capital and KPMG, tackling complex issues in multidisciplinary teams. Passionate about investment, AI, fintech, and climate tech, Calvados aims to use data-driven insights to promote sustainable business practices.

Zoe Alderton

Dr Zoe Alderton is a lecturer and curriculum designer in the Leading in a Post-Crisis World program at the University of Sydney Business School. She has extensive experience teaching and designing units across universities in New South Wales, and helping students to understand academic communication principles.

Max Baker

Before his academic career, Max worked as an accountant and auditor for PwC and Macquarie Bank. Max’s research focuses on corporate social responsibility, prison reform, and Big Data. Max has published extensively in top-tier academic journals and serves on the editorial board of Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal, Critical Perspectives on Accounting and Accounting and Business Research and is an Associate Editor of ABACUS. As an active commentator on prison policy reform, Max is often asked to provide expert testimony and submissions to relevant government inquiries. In 2022, Max won an ARC discovery grant to study the data breach disclosure rules and practices in Australian companies.

Sandra Barker

Sandra Barker is a Senior Lecturer in Management at UniSA Business. Sandy is involved in teaching and curriculum development for undergraduate students. Holding a PhD (Business), Graduate Diploma in Education Studies (Digital Learning), Graduate Certificate in Education (University Teaching), and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chemistry), in early 2021 Sandy was awarded Senior Fellowship with Advance HE (SFHEA). Her PhD investigated the management of end-user computing and end-user development of small-scale information systems. In education, Sandy has a research interests in authentic assessment, feedback and experiential learning with a focus on work placements, graduate qualities/enterprise skills, learning analytics, business simulations and role play. All courses that she teaches have an experiential component to ensure students are ready for the professional world as soon as they graduate.

Paul Blayney

Paul is a teaching focused academic in the Department of Accounting, Governance and Regulation in the Business School. His research interests are in education, applying various aspects of cognitive load theory (the basis of his PhD thesis). His teaching interests are in management accounting and data analytics for accounting. He is an accomplished Excel expert/nerd.

Andrew Brock

Andrew Brock is a Senior Learning Designer in the Business Co-Design team with a background in online resource development and educational publishing. In his role, he collaborates with Educational Developers and Academic Partners to build sustainable Units of Study. He is committed to co-designing innovative, active and experiential learning.

Alison Casey

Dr Alison Casey is a Senior Lecturer in Educational Development with the Business Co-Design team at the University of Sydney and has enormous enthusiasm for and extensive experience in teaching in all its forms. She currently leads co-design projects with Business School academics to provide students with better learning experiences. Originally a scientist, she has developed and taught curriculum in both quantitative and qualitative subjects. Her expertise is in active learning pedagogies, students as partners practice, digital affordances, and authentic assessment.

Praveena Chandra

Praveena is an Associate Lecturer of Dalyell Program. Praveena has around 10 years of combined experience in the areas of advanced materials and their characterisation technology transfer, technology evaluation, patent landscaping and techno-market mapping in the corporate sector as well as academic research experience. She was instrumental in the creation of IndiaNano (Maharashtra, India), the technology platform focused on bringing together academia and the corporate world in nanotechnology. Praveena received her MS in chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and her PhD from the University of Sydney. Her core research interest is around innovations and addresses questions of how innovations take place, their assessment and their predictability.

Tianya Chen

Tianya Chen is an emerging Learning Designer who newly joined the BCD team, with a background in Higher Education Programs and Project Management. She has experience in developing and implementing learning resources and is skilled in using various educational technologies to enhance learning experiences. Tianya is passionate about creating engaging, learner-centred environments and is committed to supporting strategic planning goals in VC Challenge to uplift student experiences through assessment redesign and innovative class delivery under the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approach.

Raffaele Ciriello

Dr Raffaele F Ciriello serves as a Lecturer in Business Information Systems at the University of Sydney Business School since 2020. He studies digital innovation, blockchain governance, and IS development using qualitative methods and dialectical inquiry. His writings appear regularly in renowned journals and conferences, such as EJIS, I&M, IJIM, BISE, ICIS, and ICSE. Raffaele engaged with software firms, music platforms, startups, NGOs, banks, and IT consulting houses for research and teaching. Before joining Sydney, Raffaele served as Assistant Professor at IT University of Copenhagen (Denmark) and earned a PhD from University of Zurich (Switzerland). He was recognized as a Distinguished Member of the AIS in 2021, as an Outstanding Associate Editor at ECIS2022, ICIS2021 and ICIS2019, and he received the ITU Award for Teaching Excellence 2018.

Janine Coupe

Janine is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head (Education) in the Discipline of Accounting, Governance & Regulation; she teaches postgraduate and undergraduate financial and management accounting. Prior to joining academia Janine worked as an auditor in a big four accounting firm and for several leading Australian and Global organisations including those in the Telecommunications, Television, Oil & Gas and Banking industries. Janine is a Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA) and an award-winning educator; she is the recipient of the Wayne Lonergan Outstanding Teaching Award, the Toolbox & Innovator Award and the Academic Enhancement of Student Life Award in recognition of her dedication to supporting and enhancing the student learning experience.

Andrew Cram

Andrew Cram, PhD, is a Lecturer in Educational Development with Business Co-Design unit at the University of Sydney Business School. He is a digital education generalist with over 20 years of experience in learning design, academic development, leadership and learning technologies management. His research examines the intersection of educational design, technology, practice, and student experiences and outcomes.

Roisin Donnelly

Roisin is Head of School of Management, People and Organisations in the Faculty of Business, Technological University Dublin since 2021. Prior she was Head of Learning Development and Sectoral Project Manager in the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Irish higher education. She has worked in HE since 1992 first as a lecturer and Research Fellow in Computing and Information Systems in the Northern Ireland Knowledge Engineering Laboratory (Ulster University) and subsequently in Australia (University of New South Wales). She is a Fellow of both the UK Higher Education Academy and SEDA, and founder and co-editor of the Irish Journal of Academic Practice.

Paul Finn

Dr Paul Finn is a Lecturer with the Discipline of Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Sydney. In his current role, Paul is developing and coordinating the first cross-faculty Innovation and Entrepreneurship Major/Minor which spans five other faculties in the university as well as multiple disciplines in the Business School. Additionally, Paul is coordinating Entrepreneurship at Masters-level and the new Introduction to Strategy, Innovation and Management unit as part of the Strategy, Innovation and Management specialisation in the Master of Commerce. Paul is also an experienced lecturer in Strategy and Change Management.
Paul gained his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the disciplines of Organisation Studies and Entrepreneurship from the University of Melbourne. His research interests include organisational creativity, entrepreneurship, power, and advanced qualitative research methods. Outside of academia, Paul has held roles in management consulting and management positions in logistics and services.

Joseph Fitzgerald

Joseph is currently Head of the Strategy & Leadership Discipline in TU Dublin. His current research interest is in Strategy formulation and Case Study pedagogy. Joe has presented research papers at numerous international conferences, including the International Pragmatics conference 2017, the Interpretative Policy Analysis conference 2021, and the Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics 2021. He has also published in the Journal of Multicultural Discourses, Irish Economic and Social History, and the Global Business Review.

Meraiah Foley

Dr Foley is a Senior Lecturer in Work and Organisational Studies and the Academic Director of Equity Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Sydney Business School. Her research focuses on the gendered dimensions of workplace technological change, the role of managers in progression workplace gender equality initiatives, and how to build a more gender equitable future of work. Meraiah’s reputation as an outstanding educator is recognised nationally, as she has received an Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT) Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning, and also multiple University of Sydney and Business School teaching awards and nominations.

Corinna Galliano

Dr Corinna Galliano is an Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney Business School. Corinna has been key in creating the award winning Leadership in a Post-Crisis (LPC) program through unit and workshop development, content creation and coordination and facilitation. In 2019 Corinna Galliano completed a PhD at the University of Sydney Business School in the discipline of Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Corinna combines her scholarship and her passion for teaching to deliver impactful and innovative teaching that integrates theory and practice, co-designs with industry practitioners and utilises reflective processes. Corinna's research sheds insights on managing the competing demands of leading and working in highly dynamic contexts, including start-ups, innovation teams and large organisations undergoing change and transformation.

Fei Gao

Fei Gao is a Lecturer specialising in taxation law in the Discipline of Accounting, Governance, and Regulations at Business School. Fei teaches business law units at both the postgraduate and undergraduate levels.

Craig Gilliver

Craig Gilliver is the Academic Lead for Leading in a Post Crisis World. His background is in literature and he has a graduate in communications with a major in journalism. He is interested in narrative. He has experience in government and tertiary education as well as arts festivals and the not for profit sector.  He has skills in teaching and arts programming as well as corporate communications, publicity, live events and entertainment logistics. He had taught and lectured at a tertiary level and has broad experience working with senior leaders in the Arts sector, both in Australia and overseas.

Lynn Gribble

Lynn Gribble (she/her) is nationally and internationally recognised for her thought leadership in AI teaching and learning and digital innovation practices, which have won multiple awards. With community at heart, she created and co-leads the AI Community of Practice to disseminate, collaborate and advocate the use of AI in education practices at UNSW. An early adopter, adapter and authoritative voice in AI, she led the terms of reference responses for the Australasian Academic Integrity Network's submission to Parliament on the impacts of Artificial Intelligence in Education (2023) and also presented evidence to the Parliamentary enquiry of the same. She has published several chapters on designing teaching and assessment in the face of rapidly developing Artificial Intelligence, published in multiple Q1 journals, and invited to present internationally. With digital in her blood, her early involvement in online learning saw her co-lead the largest Community of Practice (Digital Online Learning and Innovation 2020- 2023) and pioneered voice feedback (2011) and the use of technology in grading and feedback (from 2014). As an Education Focused Fellow (2020 – 2022) she has co-led investigations into university wide feedback and assessment practices resulting in education resources for academic development ultimately to enhance the student experience.

Eve Guerry

Dr Eve Guerry is Academic Engagement Curator at the Chau Chak Wing Museum. She is a museum educator with deep experience designing Object-Based Learning strategies for curriculum-linked learning programs and interdisciplinary engagement. With an academic background in Egyptology and archaeology, Eve has expertise in utilising collections to create immersive and impactful approaches to learning and teaching.

Rachael Hains-Wesson

Rachael Hains-Wesson is an Associate Professor and Academic Director Work-Integrated Learning at the University of Sydney Business School. She holds a Master’s in Creative Writing from the University of Melbourne, a Ph.D. from the University of Western Australia, and a Ph.D. in Education from Deakin University. Rachael is a renowned leader in higher education in Work-Integrated Learning, curriculum design and teacher scholarship. Rachael has received top teaching awards, such as the prestigious international QS Education Innovation award (2020), an Australian National Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning (AAUT, 2021) and numerous Vice-Chancellor Awards for Outstanding Teaching. She holds a Queen Elizabeth 11 Silver Jubilee Trust Award for Young Australians and a Myer Foundation Award for her social-impact work with young people. Rachael’s media, journal articles, book chapters as well as her plays and books (over +100 publications) are published in reputable outlets, nationally and internationally.

Maria Jose Hernandez Ramos

As the University of Sydney Business School Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) project officer, Maria collaborates with academics and professional staff in designing, implementing, and evaluating projects that integrate responsible management education across the business school curricula. Maria's academic passion for education for sustainable development and the ways it translates in multilateral organisations, and educational settings has been the focus of her interest and doctoral-level research. This knowledge, combined with a deep understanding of the curriculum cycle, allows her to find practical ways to improve curriculum design for impactful leadership. Maria has a Bachelor's in Social Anthropology (UNAM), a Master's in Sustainable Development (Macquarie University), and a Graduate Certificate in Educational Design (Monash University).

Steven Hitchcock

Dr Steven Hitchcock is a lecturer of Work-Integrated Learning at the University of Sydney Business School. He has particular interest in experiential learning design, authentic assessment, and student experience in higher education (https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7130-7438). Steven's primary stream of research focusses on engagement in higher education. Steven has an interest in processes of unit development via the likes of innovative teaching practice, and narrative-based instruction. Steven has extensive experience in teaching having taught both large and small courses across all levels of higher education.

Emma Holland

Emma Holland is Sustainability Program Lead, and manages Research and Education initiatives for the University’s Sustainability Strategy. She also is a tutor in the Sustainability program and holds a Master of Sustainability. Prior to her current role, Emma was Content Editor and Communications Officer for the Sydney Environment Institute.

He (Fred) Huang

He (Fred) Huang joined the University of Sydney Business School in 2021. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Philosophy and Master of Commerce (Quantitative Finance and Banking) from the University of Sydney, and his Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (Accounting and Finance) from the Victoria University of Wellington. He is a Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA) and has been a recipient of the FFT/USS Award across multiple subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His research interests include corporate finance, financial regulation, and credit ratings, and his academic articles have been published in A* journals in accounting and finance.

Maria Ishkova

With more than 15 years of award-winning experience in leading organisational communication in business, Dr Maria Ishkova is an education-focused academic in the discipline of Work and Organisational Studies, USBS. Maria coordinates undergraduate and postgraduate units of study and runs masterclasses on organisational communication for students and professional staff. Her innovative, industry-oriented while personalised approach to educational practice were acknowledged with the most prestigious USYD teaching awards, including Dean's Award for Teaching (2022), Academic Enhancement of Student Life Award (2022), SRES Inaugural Award "Relationship-rich Education" (2021), Vice Chancellor's Award for the Outstanding Teaching (2020, team), Wayne Lonergan Award (2019, team).

George Issa

George is a Lecturer (Education-Focused) in the Discipline of Finance at the University of Sydney. He has been a passionate educator to both undergraduate and postgraduate students since 2014. George’s primary research interests encompass the banking sector and the market microstructure of the over-the-counter (OTC) financial markets. George was recently awarded a Fellowship (FHEA) under the Sydney Educational Fellowship Program, and is an alumnus of the University of Sydney, graduating with First Class Honours in 2012 and his PhD in 2018.

Kaiying Ji

Dr Kaiying Ji is a lecturer in the Discipline of Accounting, Governance & Regulation at the University of Sydney Business School. She is a member of CPA Australia and CFA institute. Kaiying has taught in both Undergraduate and Postgraduate curriculum, in the areas of Accounting, Business and Work-integrated Learning. She has various research interests, including how to improve employability learning outcomes through Work-Integrated Learning curriculum and practice in higher education (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4332-3892).

Patrick Kenny

Patrick is Head of Organisation Studies in the School of Management, People and Organisations in Technological University Dublin where he is responsible for the management of the BSc Business & Management and BSc Business & Law programmes. He teaches strategic management on the Executive MBA programme and has a particular interest in teaching with case studies and online simulations. He is a graduate of University College Dublin and the University of Stirling and his research interests are in the broad area of marketing regulation and social/public health marketing, particularly in the context of the alcohol industry.

Anthony Krivokapic

Anthony is a PhD candidate within the Discipline of Accounting, Governance & Regulation and an Associate lecturer in the University of Sydney Business School. He is a keen teacher and has received a number of Dean's citations for teaching excellence. Anthony has experience in developing lecture materials, assessments and incorporating interactive learning technologies to maximise the student experience, across a number of senior masters level and capstone units. His research interests explore how accounting animates both organisational and social lives, with particular focus on digital platforms and novel technologies.

Benjamin Lay

Dr Benjamin Lay is a Lecturer in the Discipline of Accounting, Governance and Regulation. Ben has taught and helped develop multiple financial accounting units of study. His work in developing teaching approaches to help develop students’ skills and career readiness was recognised in 2023, receiving the University of Sydney Business School Toolbox and Innovators Award and the University of Sydney Educational Innovation Award. His teaching has also been recognised with the University of Sydney FFT Award for Teaching in 2022 and 2023. Ben’s research interests include innovation in accounting education and corporate governance.

Doowon Lee

Dr. Doowon Lee joined the University of Sydney Business School in 2022. He holds a PhD in Finance from the KAIST Business School. Prior to perusing an academic career, he has worked as a business analyst and consultant in the finance industry. He has been involved in various projects as chief investigator funded by financial organisations such as the Korea Exchange Co. (KRX), Korea Banking Institute, and the National Pension Service of Korea.

Henry Leung

Henry Leung worked as a senior analyst at BT Financial Group, Deutsche Bank and Commonwealth Securities before joining the University. In the process, he has gained extensive knowledge and practical experience in the engineering of large scale trading and dealing systems covering foreign exchange, equities, fixed income and derivatives products. He graduated from the University with first class honours in Electrical Engineering and Commerce (major in finance and economics) and successively completed a Masters of Business in Finance at the University of Technology, Sydney. Henry was a recipient of the Faculty of Economics and Business Research Scholarship.

Na Liu

PhD Information Systems; Bachelor (Hons) in Computing. Na is a Senior Lecturer and the Postgraduate Program Coordinator of the Business Information Systems Discipline. She teaches various information systems units at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has been working on enhancing the connectivity among all units offered in the Digital Business Specialisation and improving students' ability to apply the knowledge gained from the program in an integrated way.

Vanessa Loh

Dr Loh is a Lecturer in Work and Organisational Studies at the University of Sydney Business School. Vanessa has a PhD in Psychology (University of Sydney) and has conducted multidisciplinary research in areas spanning organisational, personality and cognitive psychology, social gerontology, and work and organisational studies. Vanessa is a passionate educator and is recognised for outstanding teaching through the Wayne Lonergan Award nominations. She is often known for her student-focused pedagogical innovation in her units.

Danilo Lopomo Beteto

Danilo is a Senior Lecturer in Finance (Education Focused) at the University of Sydney Business School. He has previously held academic appointments at the University of Queensland and Australian Institute of Business. In finance, Danilo's research predominantly focuses on financial crises and the impact of government intervention in financial markets; in education, Danilo has been studying the role of machine learning in the provision of efficient feedback and the use of mind maps in online learning. His research has been published in The International Review of Economics and Finance and the Journal of Financial Economic Policy, among others.

Simon Loria

Simon is teaching focussed academic in the Discipline of Business Analytics at USBS, who lectures in Decision Making, Operations and Project Management. Prior to teaching he spent 20 years in industry, firstly in consulting and then in construction and logistics. He is an alumnus of both UNSW and Macquarie University with degrees in Finance and Business Administration. He has a teaching philosophy that seeks to make his student's learning experience both authentic and engaging with the aim of developing within them, many of the graduate qualities that USYD promotes.

Darren Louie

Darren has over 25 years of experience in IT and consulting and has several teaching awards in both industry and academia. He is currently a Program Director at SAP, responsible for workforce performance and transformation. In this role, he leads an APAC initiative to train and develop university graduates for consulting roles. Additionally, Darren occasionally runs student workshops and delivers guest lectures on Enterprise Systems, Business Intelligence, Design Thinking, and Professional Skills.

Rachael Lowe

Rachael is a Digital Learning Designer in the Business Co-Design team at The University of Sydney Business School. With a background in marketing and educational publishing, Rachael enjoys working alongside teachers and educational developers to explore digital technologies and improve the student learning experience in large courses. She is passionate about creating and developing sustainable, accessible, and innovative online units of study.

Louise Luff

Louise is a Lecturer in the Accounting, Governance and Regulation Discipline and is a financial reporting specialist. Previously Louise worked in professional accounting and commercial roles including an accounting technical manager in the banking industry. Louise is a Fellow of Advance HE, a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and has co-authored several corporate reporting textbooks and publications for CA ANZ. In recognition of Louise's interest in developing resources to enhance student readiness for the business world, Louise was the recipient of a 2021 Dean's award for FFT and a 2020 Dean's Award for Teaching.

Hamish Malloch

Dr. Hamish Malloch commenced as a lecturer at the University of Sydney in 2009 and received his PhD from the same institution in 2011. Hamish's PhD involved the valuation of exotic options called "passport options" and this work has subsequently been published in the high quality international journal Quantitative Finance. Hamish's research interests lie in the field of mathematical/quantitative finance. Specifically, he is interested in theoretical models of derivative valuation and asset allocation and the empirical application of such models.

Craig Mellare

Craig Mellare is currently the Academic Director (Teaching Quality) for the Business School, where he is responsible for teaching and assessment quality assurance and enhancement for taught programs. Prior to that he was the Deputy Head (Education) of the Discipline of Finance at the Business School. Craig is keenly interested in ensuring a positive and valuable learning experience for his students and has incorporated many new pedagogical and technological innovations into his teaching to facilitate this outcome. Craig is a recipient of the SUPRA Teacher of the Year 2019 award and has received numerous Dean’s citations for teaching.

Ryan Menner

Ryan Menner is an experienced research professional, focussing on public/community sector workforces; knowledge and expertise in organisations; and, science and public research funding. Ryan has held a number of roles across university research portfolios, that involve pure and applied qualitative research; developing and coordinating research strategies, policy and initiatives; research training and supervision of undergraduate research projects; industry/community engagement; and, communicating research findings / public forums. Further to this, Ryan has contributed to a number of university service roles through committee, academic network and union membership.

Jo Nash

Joanne Nash is an Educational Developer with Business Co-Design (BCD). Before moving to higher education to lecture in marketing, Jo worked for major corporations in Australia and internationally in marketing and advertising receiving many awards for product launches and ad. campaigns. She was divisional manager of a pharmaceutical company and has deep experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) with Nestle, J&J and Beiersdorf. Her educational research spans team teaching, learning spaces, curriculum transformation and co-design. She is a Fellow (FHEA) of the Advance HE (UK).

Ju Li Ng

Dr Ng is a Lecturer (Education Focused) in the Work and Organisational Studies and the Academic Director (Education Focused Community of Practice) at the University of Sydney Business School. She is widely recognised as an outstanding educational innovator and her excellence in teaching and educational innovations are evidenced by her track record of securing competitive teaching innovation grants (totalling $30,957) and the number of teaching excellence awards. Specifically, she was awarded the 2022 Wayne Lonergan Outstanding (Runner-up), the inaugural 2021 SRES Innovation (Highly Commended) Award, 2021 Unit of Study (USS) Award, and 2022 Vice-Chancellor’s Award Nomination for Outstanding Teaching.

Adrian Norman

Dr Adrian Norman is a Lecturer in Educational Development in the Business Co-Design (BCD) team at the University of Sydney Business School. He has taught in the areas of Learning Design and Educational Technologies at several Australian universities and his research interests include Massive Open Online Courses, self-regulated online learning and cross-cultural design patterns.

Eoghan O'Grady

Eoghan is Senior Lecturer in Strategy and Leadership. His roles at TU Dublin include leading the Leadership Development component of the MBA programme and chairing Final Year of the sister undergraduate BSc programmes in Business & Law and Business & Management respectively. He is also lead coach for faculty international case competition teams. Eoghan champions and supports the roll out of case study pedagogy in the faculty.

Julian Prester

Julian is a Lecturer of Business Information Systems at The University of Sydney. His research interests lie at the intersection of technology, work and organisations, focusing on various forms of Digital Work. Using ethnographic and in-depth qualitative field research methods he explores digital work phenomena such as Digital Nomadism and Platform Work. His research has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Information Technology, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, Decision Support Systems and Information & Management as well as the proceedings of leading IS conferences. Julian teaches courses on data visualisation, business intelligence, and data management, and is innovating with AI-enabled teaching methods to enhance student learning experiences.

Dr Carlos Prieto is a senior learning technologist in learning analytics and EdTech design for higher education. He has experience working in EdTech projects for the University of Technology Sydney and the University of Sydney in data-centric projects, co-design, and learner experience design. Currently working as a senior learning technologist for the USYD Business School.

Corina Raduescu

Corina is a Senior Lecturer in Business Information Systems, University of Sydney Business School. Corina’s teaching and research focuses on educational innovation, experiential interdisciplinary learning, and sustainable online learning environments including high quality assessment. Corina brings expertise in qualitative and interdisciplinary research, particularly co-design approaches for addressing and evaluating complex problem solving and the scalability of experiential education. Her educational innovation was awarded multiple University and national teaching awards.

Abdul Razeed

Dr Abdul Razeed is a Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Accounting, Governance & Regulation at the Business School. Abdul's research area focuses on examining how different technologies influence the adoption, reporting of and the dissemination of social and environmental by organisations. Abdul also researches into exploring how the superannuation savings in Australia and around the word are influenced by key Accounting and economic indicators. Abdul has co-authored two academic books and a case study. He teaches across both the undergraduate and postgraduate programs. His passion lies in developing and continually innovating in large core units.

Benedicte Rokvic

Benedicte Rokvic is a Digital Learning Designer in Business Co-Design (BCD). She has been working in many Australian universities in similar roles where she mainly develops digital educational resources and activities with diverse e-tools and digital systems. Her work spans on creating diverse forms of information, interaction and collaboration for students learning in F2F and digital environments and supporting academics with the sustainable use and delivery of such learning activities.

Agustina Salas

Agustina Salas is a seasoned education professional with over 20 years of teaching experience and 8 years in education management, focusing on student support services and learning design. Currently serving as a Digital Learning Designer at The University of Sydney Business School, she collaborates with academic staff to develop innovative digital learning materials and course content. Agustina’s dedication to enhancing education is further demonstrated through her previous roles, including Education Support Officer at the University of Sydney, Academic Coordinator at Sydney Metropolitan English Institute, and CEO of Bepro Education. She holds a master’s degree in Learning Sciences and Technology from The University of Sydney and multiple certifications in project management and educational design.

Sandra Seno-Alday is Deputy Head of the Discipline of International Business at the University of Sydney Business School. Noman Shaheer

Noman Shaheer is Senior Lecturer in International Business Discipline at the University of Sydney. He received his PhD in International Business from Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. His recent research on digital internationalization has appeared in Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of International Marketing, Journal of International Management, and Harvard Business Review. He is also serving as guest editors for special issues at Journal of International Business Studies and Asia Pacific Journal of Management. Jennifer Z. Sun is a lecturer in finance at the University of Sydney. She has a strong passion for educational research, with a focus on first-year transition pedagogy, academic integrity, and sustainable learning. Her practices focus on designing authentic assessments and creating a feedback loop to promote student learning experiences and learning outcomes. She has a growing interest in student-staff partnerships to make the course inclusive and engaging for students.

Jane Thogersen

Jane Thogersen is Academic Engagement Curator at the Chau Chak Wing Museum. She has worked with several university collections and her interest in life-long learning focuses on the way collections can support Object-Based Learning through innovative approaches. She has deep experience designing and delivering cross-disciplinary and curriculum-linked programs for access and engagement across multiple learning environments, collection types and digital solutions.

Thomas To

Thomas is a Lecturer in the Discipline of Finance at the University of Sydney, which he joined in 2020. He is a motivated and flexible educator in the discipline, with a strong rapport with his undergraduate and postgraduate students. His research interests are in the areas of corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions, and his research has been published in multiple A* international peer-reviewed journals. Thomas received his PhD in Finance from the University of Sydney.

Carmen Vallis

Carmen Vallis leads co-design projects for the Connected Learning at Scale (CLaS) initiative with business academics and a multidisciplinary team, to transform learner experience. Her work and research are informed by her multidisciplinary background, spanning Education, English, Creative Writing and Information and Communication Technologies. She has taught English as a Second Language, English and ICTs across the secondary, vocational and adult education sectors, and led learning design teams to creatively solve educational problems. Her expertise is in writing, digital design pedagogies and the research and evaluation of educational innovations, including emerging educational design processes. She is Associate Editor, Educational Technology for The Journal of University Teaching and Learning Practice(JUTLP).

Christie van Diggele

Christie van Diggele is a Lecturer in Academic Professional Development at the University of Sydney Business School, and a PhD candidate with Sydney Medical School. In her current role she is responsible for the coordination of the Tutor Development Program and supports academic professional development. Christie has received several awards for multidisciplinary team collaboration and was recently awarded the 2021 international ASPIRE-to-Excellence team award in Inspirational Approaches to Health Professions Education, for the Peer Teacher Training program, from the International Association for Health Professions Education Europe (AMEE). Christie’s research interests include faculty development, interprofessional education, peer teaching and curriculum design.

Andrey Vasnev

Andrey Vasnev is an Associate Professor in the Discipline of Business Analytics at the University of Sydney Business School. He graduated in Applied Mathematics from Moscow State University in 1998. In 2001 he completed his Master's degree in Economics in the New Economic School, Moscow. In 2006 he received Ph.D. degree in Economics from the Department of Econometrics and Operations Research at Tilburg University under the supervision of Jan R. Magnus. He worked as a credit risk analyst in ABN AMRO bank before joining the University of Sydney.

Ranjit Voola

Associate Professor Ranjit Voola is a nationally awarded researcher and educator. His scholarship at the intersection of marketing and the UN Sustainable Development Goals is groundbreaking and has been published in leading marketing journals such as Industrial Marketing Management. In 2022, his paper on food well-being and poverty won the best paper award from the Australasian Marketing Journal. He has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Product Innovation and Management, the European Journal of Marketing, and the Journal of Public Policy and Marketing. In 2023, Ranjit was awarded the prestigious Distinguished Marketing Educator of the Year from the Australia New Zealand Marketing Academy(ANZMAC) for using his ‘platform as a marketing educator to make the world a better place’ and championing the UN SDGs and the PRME principles. He previously won the ANZMAC Emerging Marketing Educator of the Year award. He is currently leading a special issue in the premier marketing education journal, Journal of Marketing Education, relating to embedding SDGs in Marketing Education. He has also published in the Journal of Marketing Education and the Journal of Management Education.

Mark Waddington

Mark joined the Discipline of Accounting, Governance & Regulation after twenty years of commercial experience working in a variety of financial and operational roles in professional accounting, corporate accounting and the financial markets. He brings a multi-disciplinary approach to teaching, particularly given his experience in financial markets where he worked at Citi Investment Research in different senior roles in the Investment Research area over several years, and in different countries. Mark has a Bachelor of Economics, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Master of Education and is a Chartered Accountant.

Dewa Wardak

Dewa is a Lecturer in Educational Development with the Business Co-Design team. She is a Fellow of AdvanceHE and a member of the University of Sydney Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC1). She has a background in Learning Sciences and Technologies and is interested in educational design, co-design for learning, networked learning, multimodal approaches to the analysis of learning and teaching, and ethics.

Chris F Wright is an Associate Professor in the Discipline of Work and Organisational Studies and the Academic Director of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) at the University of Sydney Business School. His research and teaching examines the institutional drivers of and barriers to business responsibility and sustainability with a particular focus on decent work.

Danika Wright

Dr Danika Wright is an Associate Professor in the Discipline of Finance at the University of Sydney Business School. Dr Wright’s research and teaching focuses intersect where investment decisions are made by both investors and corporations. Her research projects consider the role of various stakeholder groups in examining M&A, executive compensation, and investor behaviour. Prior to joining the University of Sydney Business School, Dr Wright worked in the research team of finance-based start ups and funds management firms. Dr Wright’s primary teaching areas are in Mergers and Acquisitions and Investments and Portfolio Management. In these units, she creates learning environments that support and encourage students to engage with the real-world applications of textbook concepts.

Eliza Wu

Dr Eliza Wu is the Head of the Discipline of Finance at the University of Sydney Business School. Eliza's expertise lies within finance and banking as well as work-integrated learning and teaching. She is the Co-Director of the Business Financing and Banking Research Group at the University of Sydney and she has successfully led collaborations with many international research teams and has been awarded several Australian Research Council Discovery Grants. Eliza is passionate about and experienced in delivering work-integrated learning and teaching and she is engaged in capstone teaching at the University of Sydney. She is an innovative educator and has received the Dean's Citation for Teaching Excellence.

Vycke Wu

Dr. Vycke Wu is an Associate Lecturer in the Discipline of Finance. Vycke completed her PhD in Finance and a Graduate Certificate in Educational Studies (Higher Education) from the University of Sydney. Vycke's research focuses on Behavioural Finance, Corporate Finance, and the integration of Generative AI in education. Vycke is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and serves as an accredited assessor and mentor for the Sydney Educational Fellowship Program. Vycke teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum and has received multiple awards for teaching excellence.

Anna Young-Ferris

Dr. Anna Young-Ferris is an ESG/sustainability and climate pioneer with over two decades of experience, is a published author in this field and a Senior Fellow (SFHEA) of AdvanceHE (UK). Anna received the 2023 UN PRME Faculty Recognition Award for integrating the SDGs into academia and won the University's 2022 Vice Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Contribution to Sustainability. Also an award-winning educator, she designed and led the Responsible Business Mindset (BUSS5220) unit, engaging ~2,000 students and ~50 staff each semester and has recently published in the responsible management education field.

Sandris Zeivots

Sandris Zeivots is a Senior Lecturer - Educational Development with Business Co-Design at the University of Sydney Business School. He investigates how to design and implement innovative learning experiences that are engaging, meaningful and purposeful. With a professional background in experiential learning, Sandris explores how to design impactful events to strategically improve the experiences of learners through experiential education, emotional engagement, and learning spaces.
